Axel is a 2.5 year old pyr that was dumped at the shelter when his family had no use for him in the yard anymore. His Connecticut Foster Mom says, "he is a calm, easy going, gentle giant who loves anyone who comes through the door. Seems content to just lay down in one spot for hours, welcomes attention from anyone who will pet him. Axel doesn’t seem to know any commands but he has very good manners in the house, doesn’t bark or whine, loves his crate. He’s great on a leash!" He seems housetrained. He has been in a foster home with other dogs before, but seems happiest when he gets to be the main man in your life. He has not been tested with kids or cats.
