Are you having a bad day?  Feeling a little bit down on your luck?  Trust me, I know a pup that can relate.  To put it bluntly, Tahoe had completely lost hope and his time was nearly up.  He was depressed and scared, and who could blame him?  He was suffering from heartworms on a cold shelter floor and had lost sight of any hope.  Despite it all, there was a sweet soul buried behind those worried eyes, so when SAVE got a call and was informed that we were his last hope, we did the only thing imaginable.  

You wouldn't believe the dog that he has transformed into.  He is now heartworm free!  He spent a month at training where he learned basic commands and how to be a happy dog once again.  He has left his past behind, regained all hope and lives everyday to the fullest.  He is ready to find that special family of his own.  Maybe even restore some hope in them.  Until then, he'll keep on enjoying belly rubs, kisses, doggie daycare, rolling in the grass and everything else his new life has to offer.  This is one special pup looking for a very special person to call his own.
